San Diego LGBT Pride Launches T-shirt Design Contest

Graphic artists and those with creative imaginations are invited to submit designs for a T-shirt contest being held by San Diego Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride. Designs must incorporate the 2008 logo (available on www.sandiegopride.org under "T-shirt contest"), as well as the theme and dates of Pride weekend: ("Live, Love, Be" -- July 19-20, 2008.)

The winning designer will receive $250, a T-shirt and two multi-day tickets to the Balboa Park festival.

There are no color or style demands, notes Pride Executive Director Ron deHarte, although entries must be received by February 1 as either a jpeg image (1050 x 1050 pixels, 150 resolution) or mounted on to a 15-by-10-inch black board with the image measuring seven-by-seven inches.

In addition to appearing on T-shirts, the chosen artwork may also be used in a variety of marketing materials, Pride merchandise and other clothing items.
