SAN DIEGO LGBT PRIDE TO PRODUCE 2007 PRIDE GUIDE
San Diego Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride has assembled a team of agencies to produce the official souvenir informational booklet, the 2007 PRIDE Guide. The 64-page magazine will be available starting the last week of June, with 40,000 copies distributed free at locations in Los Angeles, Long Beach, Palm Springs and San Diego, Las Vegas and Phoenix.
The PRIDE Guide is San Diego's official and comprehensive guide to the 2007 San Diego Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride celebration, scheduled this year for the third week in July. The guide will include details about the parade and festival, a festival map, entertainment schedules, and a full calendar of July Pride events that include theater productions, Pride concerts, art happenings, a Front Runners 5K run, plus official Pride parties and club events. It will also showcase this year's Pride award recipients, celebrity and community grand marshals and the 2007 Inspiration Couples.
"We are pleased to have top-quality professionals working together to assemble The Guide," says Ron deHarte, executive director of San Diego LGBT Pride.
The production team includes Jonathan Young who oversee the layout and design, and Ad Ink, which will oversee ad sales for the program. Says Nancy Moors of Ad Ink, "Non-profit organizations will receive a 25 percent discount on ad rates if they meet the early-bird deadline of April 9." The final deadline for all other ads is May 14.
"Ads in the Official PRIDE Guide is the ideal way to reach event participants, to attract traffic to your booth at the festival, or to promote your business," adds deHarte.
Pride is also seeking volunteers to sign up for the beverage gardens, safety (crowd management, monitors and security) and ticket sales.
