700 dedicated volunteers are expected to join the efforts of San Diego Pride's volunteer Board of Directors and an event management team to make the Pride Celebration a reality.

Volunteer for a 5 hour shift and receive:

• Souvenir T-shirt
• Two-day admission to the Festival
• An invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party where volunteers will have the chance to win numerous prizes
• A meal ticket and water for each shift worked (sat & sun)
• Access to the private Volunteer Village rest area at the Festival with restroom facilities and snacks.
• The opportunity to meet other community-minded individuals

CHILDREN's GARDEN - presended by Family Matters
This is the place where LGBT parents spend time with their children. Volunteer to help make this area fun! To volunteer please contact Jane Schmoll at The Center jschmoll@thecentersd.org.

PARADE MARSHAL
Walk with this year's fantastic parade contingents, each Marshal is assigned a certain number of parade contingents to make sure things roll along smoothly. The eyes and ears of the Parade Supervisors and Parade Coordinator.

SAFETY
Friendly and helpful volunteers providing hands-off assistance for contingents, spectators at the parade, and visitors. Duties may include: crowd and traffic control, security for the entrances and emergency gates.

EVENT SUPPORT
Build those muscles while helping your community. Volunteer with a chance to work before the festivities start. We need volunteers to set up and break down the festival & parade. Shifts available at various times, some positions the week before pride and the Monday after.

TICKET SALES
Money, money, money!! Festival ticket sales or beverage ticket sales in the beer gardens. Volunteer to sell tickets - sales or cashier experience helpful, but not required.
